The PM speaks
- “The celebration of Nari Shakti is marked by the guidance of President Smt. Droupadi Murmu and the interim budget presented by Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.”

Speaking to the assembly, the prime minister recounted the first meeting of the newly constituted Parliament and highlighted some of the significant choices that were made at that time. “The passage of the Women Empowerment and Adulation Act marked a pivotal moment for our nation,” as stated by Shri Modi, he said, emphasizing the historic significance of the act’s enactment during the first session.
In honor of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, he expressed gratitude to the country for Nari Shakti’s courage, strength, and will. The importance of President Droupadi Murmu’s speech and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s announcement of the Interim Budget was emphasized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who described it as a celebration of women’s empowerment.
As he looked back over the last ten years, Prime Minister Modi thanked each and every member of parliament for their contributions. However, he urged individuals who had strayed from democratic ideals and turned to disturbances and disorder to reflect on their actions. The Prime Minister stated, “A broad spectrum of people remembers those who have contributed positive ideas to the House, but criticism and opposition are necessary in a democracy.” People who have only recently caused disruption are forgotten.”
Prime Minister Modi turned to face the future and emphasized the importance of parliamentary discussions, saying, “Every word spoken here will echo in the annals of history.” With the words, “While constructive criticism is welcome, disruptive behavior will fade into obscurity,” he challenged the group to make constructive contributions. Prime Minister Modi urged all distinguished members to take advantage of this chance to make a lasting impression during the Budget Session by highlighting the importance of putting the interests of the country first. He said, “Let us strive to deliver our best, enrich the House with our ideas, and infuse the nation with enthusiasm and optimism.”
Speaking about the upcoming budget, the prime minister disclosed, “Normally, the entire budget is not presented when elections are approaching. As is customary, we will present you with the entire budget as soon as the new administration is formed. This time, tomorrow, the nation’s finance minister, Nirmala ji, will deliver her budget to us all along with a few directives.”
“India’s journey of inclusive and comprehensive development will continue, propelled by the blessings of the people,” Prime Minister Modi said.
